belated fourth.

I haven’t seen Ty’s sister and niece since May 2016 so it was nice to spend some time with them over the Fourth of July weekend. I’m always amazed by how kids remember/aware of so many things. They’re literally tiny cute sponges full of life.

We spent the day driving around since parking in the city was crazy insane and popular tourist attractions were jam packed with people. We managed to find a park in Oakland to chill for a bit before heading over to watch the A’s game. The next day, we hung out at Happy Hollow Park and Zoo. Perfect way to entertain kids and tire them out. I experienced my first “small town 4th of July parade” in Redwood City. Not quite the parade I expected but still worth getting sunkissed during what seemed like 4 hours of cars/groups parading through. And to end the night, we decided to watch the fireworks on Facebook’s rooftop.
